~ Roboty Sketches ~ ...

...With quick color pass. One's a nautical pressure suit (knock-off from the Alien design) and another's a deep sea explorer, but hey - roboty enough.

There is something retroly amazing with your designs Kyle. :D I love them, when i look at these i am thrown back to the era of GATCHAMAN, SABER RIDER and all those old japanese shows i loved so much as a kid, and still do. The bamboo art in the last post is great, so much awesome going on!! Cheers buddy!

Thanks much man, those are high compliments. Sure do, I remember watching alot of Gatchaman when I was about 2 of 3. That, along with anything Jim Henson did, probably influences what I draw moreso than I realize or give credit for.

For sure, roboty and retroly - I've been on that kick lately. Is a good general philosophy for art, I figure. Cheers.

Merry Christmas to you and your family! :)

You too Manu; Merry Christmas. Watch out for those presents - they're sneaky, and people will try to surprise you with them. Dangerous times indeed.

Thanks much. Now if I can only get around to learning sculpting and molding, I'd have these badboys as paperweights.
