Playing catch-up from last week's lack of posts:
Small scrap vignette from a 3 page short sequence. I ended up doing another version of this with different poses that I liked better:

...With Ignorance and Want clinging tenaciously.Been jumping between A.C. Doyle and Charles Dickens over the past week. First time I've had a chance to read either, including A Christmas Carol. Couldn't help but see Patrick Stewart as Scrooge every other 5th page...
Anyhow, ended up drawing the Ghost of Christmas Future (in a pose suspiciously similar to one I posted two weeks ago)... :

Yeah, technically they were with Ghost of Christmas Present, but I liked how Dickens described Christmas Future. And besides, these two brats ought to have been hanging out with the shadowy silent ninja character anyway - literally the Snake Eyes of the story. (Other options include Cthulhu and Soundwave.)

Oooh, I love the one of the guy riding that interesting creature. It's whiskers are so charming! And, of course, your colors are gorgeous.
Thanks much. What's funny is that I had her riding on the back of it for the first shot in the sequence previous to this (I'll post it later this week). I debated about whether or not to add a little bit of atmosphere/lighting here between her and the therapsid, to give them a little distance and clarity between the two (she's crouched alongside it). Ah well, I should've followed my gut on that one I guess.
awesome, love the arcs and movement in the therapsid sketch!
Hey Kyle!! Awesome updates, was quite the treat to go through them. :D Amazing work as always. Love the lady riding on the creature, she's got an awesome aura around her.
Its funny you mention that, because i was actually gonna make a short story involving the kids fighting for control over the neighborhood playground. :D You have just helped me get more pumped for it!
How are things on your end?

Thanks much; was fun to try to exaggerate how an extinct animal would hop around in a cave. (probably wouldn't happen, but hey, it's a comic.)

Hey, long time no see. Thanks much for taking the time to look through stuff here. Good hunting with your short story - will be around to check it out when you finish it up.
On the first image: Is that a giant capibara with a goaty? Cool updates.
Reading always keeps the creative juices flowing, so to speak. I just read "The Road" by Cormic McCarthy; It was super dark but written beautifully. You might like it.
Thanks much. The animal is supposed to be this - although it probably'd read better without the whiskers.
I think I'll upgrade to hamsters next time. Doing capoeira.
...No, wait... Disney's got a film like that coming out. Damn it.
