I really like the way the story begins in black & white then makes the transition to color. I also liked the frames where the critter (for want of a name) gives the girl a ride down the sloped tunnel, then the girl helps boost the critter up the steep incline; they both needed each other. Finally it culminates with that large single-panel, very colorful frame which finishes it off beautifully. I can almost hear the trumpets heralding their arrival.

Very cool sequence Kyle. Really like the panel with the old man slamming his staff on the ground and then leaning in to talk to the girl. Really great shots and angles. :D Great post!! This story is already very interesting to me.

Yes indeed, them things with teeths, fur, and strangely chimeric aural systems (thus interpreted).
